Tennis Lessons (Bangsar)

I took up tennis lessons back when I was 16 years old ,I cannot remember what prompted me to take up tennis but it sure is a whole lot of fun !

Below is one of the well-known tennis coach group in Bangsar.

 Flaming Aces Co
Flaming Aces consist of a group of professional tennis coaches and their office is at Sri Wangsaria condominium located at Jalan Ara.
There are 3 main coach in this company ,namely Coach Clement Chan, Coach Sam and Coach Henrick.Besides coaching at Sri Wangsaria ,they also  do coach at Tropicana Golf Club

A little info on Coach Clement:
1.He has been coaching for more than 20 years.
    2.Charges a rate of RM 65/hour
3.Has an accounting degree but burn it off and became a tennis coach instead .
4.Was Jojo Struys tennis coach.  =D

I Coach Clement is known to be very strict with his students (regardless of age,his students range from small kids to elderly) ,my friends and I took lessons under him and used to worry and try to do our best so that we wont get scoldings from him, which I often get because I always send his tennis balls out of the court and into the jungle somewhere.=( Despite his strict way of coaching,we do have lots of fun and laughter during lessons.

I would suggest that you head over to Flaming Aces straight away if you are interested in taking up tennis. They are a very fun bunch of people who knows their stuff in and out and each of them has their own unique way of coaching. You 'd love them!

For more information ,do check out  their facebook page here!

Have a great weekend ahead!!=D

of Kopitiams and Nasi Lemak in Bangsar

Every  Sunday, My mom and I will go our for brunch at our selected restaurant to 'Tan Sai Kai' ,which means to enjoy life in Cantonese.Usually she will ask me to pick a place and we had been going to Old Town White Coffee for months at Bangsar South because we love the environment over there . The outlet is really spacious and has unifi.Mom and I usually go there for their Nasi Lemak. So far, comparing to Hainan Kopitiam and Papa Rich in Lucky Garden and Bangsar Baru,Old Town serves the best Nasi Lemak.

I am not usually a fussy eater,so when I say I do not like the food,it is usually really bad. Papa Rich's Nasi Lemak at the Bangsar Baru outlet taste bad.The rice is too wet,the curry is too watery,i felt like i was eating spicy steam chicken not rendang/curry chicken.Over all it is just bad.

and I am not just talking about the Nasi Lemak, they also do serve something like fried rice with egg on top and fried chicken. The chicken wing was so dry and thin, the chicken probably had anorecix before it got slaughtered. The rice taste bad and the steam egg looks like it has been steaming so long ,it would have turned into a chicken with all the heat.

The last straw was when I ordered ABC ice kacang, they served it to me with frozen shaved ice in the shape of those round plastic container.Yes,it is frozen. It seems to me they froze the ice with the ingredients in the freezer and when customer order ,they just serve it in a bowl and add some jelly or corn and everything else.No quality control or whatsoever.I may have laughed about it there but Papa Rich, you just lost one customer.I never go back there unless I just wanted to sit and have a drink.

The newly open Hainan Kopitiams at Lucky Garden serves slightly better Nasi Lemak compare to Papa Rich.

If you are really craving for a reasonable yummy Nasi Lemak, head over to Cha Wan(serves  a big portion of delicious Nasi lemak with kangkung and 2 piece of chicken/beef/ or sotong ) or the famous Madam Kwan(only if your loaded with cash but definitely worth the try) or do what me and my friends do when we really crave for Fat Rice,we head over to the Bangsar Selera Food Court opposite Devi's Corner ,behind Bangsar Village II.

The environment may look dirty ( so far,me and my friends are still alive) and whatso but there are a couple of stalls there that serves Nasi Lemak (around RM 5/6) that will leave you smiling after your meal.Sadly they only operate at night. One of the stall is known as Nasi Lemak Famous and there is also another stall which serves TomYam and Nasi Lemak( My friends and I usually eats here)

I am not really good with my food vocabulary, so I do not really know how to describe how yummy is the plate of Nasi Lemak  served with sambal with onions(which i really like as it is not too spicy) and also kangkung and crunchy anchovies(This might not be appealing to some cause i know a friend who find it disgusting to eat anchovies, because,he said ,we are eating in the anchovies's head too),you just have to trust me on this=D
